Rawalpindi:
The security forces killed 11 terrorists sponsored by the Indians, while two members of security personnel were martyred during an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in the southern Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa district district, the army said on Tuesday.
According to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the operation was carried out in the general area of Sararogha, in southern Waziristan, on the signaled presence of Indian Terrorists of Tehreek-E-Taliban Pakistan (TTP).
“During the conduct of the operation, his own troops actually hired the place of Khwarij,” said the press release, referring to the terrorists belonging to the TTP. “Eleven Khwarij sponsored by the Indians were killed and seven injured by the security forces,” he added.
However, during the intense fire exchange, the ISPR said: “A good officer of Major Syed Moiz Abbas Shah, who led his troops by the front, fought valiantly and paid the ultimate sacrifice with another courageous son of the ground launches Naik Jibran Ullah”.
To pay tribute to Major Moiz Shaheed, the ISPR said that it was renowned for its courage and daring actions in many operations carried out against Khwarij.
According to the press release, a disinfection operation was carried out to eliminate any other Kharji sponsored by the Indians found in the region. “Pakistan security forces are determined to eliminate the threat of terrorism sponsored by the country’s Indians and such sacrifices of our brave men further strengthen our determination.”
President AIF Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif welcomed the professional capacities of officers and security forces for succeeding the operation against the Fitna al-Khwarij terrorists.
They paid tribute to Major of Shaheed Syed Moiz Abbas Shah and Shaheed Lance Naik Jibranullah, Wing Wing Wing Wing said in a statement.
The president welcomed the value of the security forces for the elimination of Fitna al-Khwarij terrorists in the IBO, said President Secretariat Media Wing in a statement.
The President and the Prime Minister prayed for the high ranks of the martyrs and the granting of patience for the bereaved families.
President Zardari, while praising the bravery and patriotism of martyred staff, said that the nation would still remember its sacrifices.
The whole nation, including him, was proud of their martyrs and families, said the Prime Minister, adding that the sacrifices of those who kissed martyrdom for the good of the adored homeland would not go to no avail.
The President and the Prime Minister reiterated the resolution to continue the fight against the scourge of terrorism until his complete eradication.
The president said that their determination to eliminate terrorist elements would remain firm.
The Prime Minister also expressed that, in his unshakable recovery to defend the fatherland, the whole nation, including him, was from shoulder to shoulder with their armed forces.
