Rawalpindi:

The security forces killed 14 other terrorists in a “disinfection operation” in the Zhob district of the Volatile Balutchistan province, said the army on Saturday – one day after 33 terrorists were neutralized as they were trying to infiltrate the neighboring Afghanistan in Pakistan.

The army media wing said that an “deliberate disinfection operation” had been carried out in the surrounding areas of Sambaza along the Pak-Afghan border in the night between August 8 and 9.

“During the conduct of the operation, 14 khwarij sponsored by India were successfully tracked down and neutralized,” the ISPR said in a statement. “Weapons, ammunition and explosives have also been recovered from Khwarij killed.”

One day earlier, the ISPR reported that the security forces had thwarted an attempted infiltration in the Sambaza region of Zhob in the night between August 7 and 8, in which 33 terrorists were “sent to hell”.

The number of Khwarij killed in two days has now increased to 47, added the press release, while freeing what he described as aerial images of targeted terrorists on mountainous land.

TEHREEK-E-TALIBAN (TTP) Pakistan terrorists-responsible for a large part of terrorist violence in the country-were officially designated as “Fitna al-Khwarij”. The officials say they receive financial and material support from the India Intelligence Agency, RAW.

The ISPR said the security forces remain determined to secure the country’s borders and thwart attempts to sabotage peace, stability and progress from Pakistan.

The TTP and its affiliated groups fled through the border in Afghanistan following their defeat during the military offensive of Zarb-E-Azb 2014 in the old tribal regions. There, they have established sanctuaries which have since served as launch ramps for cross -border attacks.

In Afghanistan, the TTP has forged a symbiotic alliance with other terrorist outfits – in particular the Balutchistan Liberation Army (Bla) – to intensify operations within Pakistan. Islamabad officials say they have credible evidence of tactical and strategic coordination between the MAJEED MAULTED BLA and TTP.

These affirmations are taken up in the last report of the UN Security Council, which unequivocally indicates that the major brigade and the TTP maintain “close coordination” in their terrorist activities. The report highlights several high -level complex attacks in 2025 as proof of their operational synchronization.

Pakistan has repeatedly urged the Taliban’s interim regime to honor its commitment under the Doha agreement not to allow Afghan soil to be used by transnational militant groups against other countries. However, the Taliban has so far abstented themselves to act against these outfits, with reports suggesting that it considers them as a lever effect in their relations with neighboring states.
