RAWALPINDI:
The Rawalpindi bench of the Lahore High Court (LHC) and an anti-terrorism court on Saturday approved bail for 146 arrested workers of the banned TLP, who were in custody following the Murree incident.
The arrested activists were detained in the jurisdictions of nine police stations after the Murree tragedy and were lodged in Adiala, Attock and Jhelum jails since their arrest.
The courts ordered that each worker submit 100,000 rupees as bail for their release. Following the court’s decisions, the process of releasing the workers began.
