Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) security forces killed 15 terrorists linked to the India-backed Fitna-al-Khawarij movement in two separate operations on November 15 and 16, the military’s media wing, Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), said on Tuesday.
The first operation took place in Kalachi area of Dera Ismail Khan district, based on intelligence about the presence of terrorists. Security forces targeted the terrorists’ hideout, killing 10 terrorists, including the group’s top commander Alam Mehsud, the ISPR said.
According to the ISPR statement, the second operation was carried out in Datta Khel in North Waziristan where five more terrorists were killed. Cleaning and disinfection efforts are underway in the area to locate and eliminate any remaining agents.

He later referred to Balochistan-based terrorist organizations as ‘Fitna-al-Hindustan’ to underline his claim that India was involved in terrorism and destabilizing activities in Pakistan.
The anti-terrorism campaign, carried out under the ‘Azm-e-Istehkam’ strategy approved by the Supreme Federal Committee, will continue with full force of security agencies and law enforcement agencies to eliminate Indian-sponsored terrorist elements.
