ISLAMABAD:
An Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) on Friday granted post-arrest bail to 153 Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) activists, while rejecting their decision.
bail pleas of 24 PTI workers in D-Chowk protest case.
ATC judge Abul Hasanat Zulqarnain heard the bail pleas of 177 PTI activists. Of the 48 accused against whom cases were filed at the Karachi Corporation Police Station, the bail applications of 43 were accepted and those of 5 accused rejected.
The court accepted the bail pleas against sureties of Rs5,000. It had reserved the verdict on Thursday after the conclusion of proceedings.
