Rawalpindi:
The security forces killed 16 terrorists who were trying to infiltrate through the Pakistani-Afghanistan border in the general area of Ghulam Khan Kallay, in the Northern Waziristan district, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, public relations inter-ares (ISPR) announced on Sunday during a press release.
He said that Pakistani soldiers effectively hired intruding terrorists when they thwarted their attempted infiltration. He added that the security forces have been determined and remained determined to secure the country’s borders and eliminate the threat of terrorism.
“At night March 22/23, the movement of a group of Khwarij, trying to infiltrate through the Pakistani-Afghanistan border, was taken up by the security forces in the general area Ghulam Khan Kallay, the district of North Waziristan,” said the press release from the ISPR.
“The own troops actually hired and thwarted their infiltration attempt. After an intense fire exchange, the sixteen Khwarij were sent to hell,” he added, referring to the term used for terrorists belonging to Pakistan of Tehreek-E-Taliban (TTP).
The ISPR, the military’s media wing, said Pakistan has always asked the Acting Afghan government to ensure effective border management on the border side.
“The acting Afghan government should fulfill its obligations and refuse the use of Afghan soil by Khwarij to perpetuate acts of terrorism against Pakistan. Pakistan security forces are determined and remain determined to ensure its borders and eliminate the country’s terrorism threat.”
President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, in their separate declarations, appreciated the security forces for arising the infiltration offer on the Pakistani-Afghanistan border and killing 16 terrorists in time.
Zardari said that the brave armed forces in Pakistan were determined to defend the country’s borders 24 hours a day. “The whole nation was held with the security forces in the war against terrorism and the operations against terrorists will continue until the full threat.”
Prime Minister Shehbaz said the terrorists are not allowed to succeed in their harmful creations. He added that he and the whole Pakistani nation stood with the courageous armed forces who defended the country with unshakable determination.
