- Keep your private browser data with local encrypted storage
1Password, creator of one of the best password managers, has teamed up with Perplexity AI to provide the security of identification information to its Comet AI web browser.
AI helps to make the navigation experience more personalized by remembering your habits, your tastes and your aversions – like a personal assistant.
But the internet today is far from sure and malicious actors are constantly on the lookout to steal from exposed identification information.
Secure by Design Ai Browser
The AI browser includes default encryption for all passwords and Pass keys, as well as automatic capacities for user names, passwords and two -factor authentication codes.
Comet also uses end -to -end encryption and stores your navigation data locally on the device, preventing perplexity servers from processing your data, so that what matters to you.
As planned from a password manager, you can also generate and store unique passwords and pass keys and synchronize them between devices, sessions and other browsers using the 1PASSWORD browser extension.
“For perplexity, the construction of security at the comet has been a priority from the start,” said Kyle Polley, Perplexity security staff. “1Password is a natural partner to provide the best security of identification information that users like.
“1Password is committed to keeping your secrets safe,” said Anand Srinivas, vice-president of product and AI at 1Password. “We are delighted to provide our management of the access of confidence to the new comet browser.”
