34 dead in Balochistan, KP counter-terrorism operation

Security forces have killed 34 terrorists during a series of intense intelligence operations in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan over the past few days, army media said on Wednesday.

"On February 24, 26 khwarij belonging to Indian Proxy Fitna al Khwarij were killed in four separate engagements in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, while eight khwarij belonging to Indian Proxy Fitna Al Hindustan were killed in an engagement in Sambaza, Balochistan," the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said in a statement. Fitna al Khawarij is a term the state uses for terrorists belonging to the banned group Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), while Fitna al Hindustan is a state term for terrorist organizations in Balochistan.

During the fifth engagement, our own troops conducted an intelligence operation in the general area of ​​Sambaza, Zhob District. After an intense exchange of fire, eight terrorists belonging to Fitna Al Hindustan were successfully neutralized. Arms and ammunition were also recovered from slain khwarij and Indian-sponsored terrorists, who remained actively involved in many terrorist activities in the region.
