34 militants killed in KP IBOs

Security forces killed 34 Khwarij linked to Indian proxy Fitna Al Khwarij in several operations across Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa from October 13 to 15.

According to an Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) statement, an Intelligence-Based Operation (IBO) was carried out in the general area of ​​Spinwam in North Waziristan which led to 18 terrorists being sent to hell after an intense exchange of fire.

Fitna al-Khawarij is the state term for the banned militant group Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) since the war with India in May 2025.

Another IBO in South Waziristan district neutralized eight terrorists, while another encounter in Bannu district killed eight others, the ISPR added.

The ISPR added that disinfection operations are underway to eliminate all terrorists remaining in the area.

These operations are part of Pakistan’s ongoing counter-terrorism campaign under the ‘Azm-e-Istehkam’ vision, aimed at eliminating foreign-sponsored terrorism from the country.

Operation Azm-e-Istehkam aims to eradicate terrorism and extremism, by coordinating the efforts of the armed forces and law enforcement agencies while addressing public concerns to curb extremist tendencies.
