PK Subban, who won gold at the 2014 Olympic Games when he was playing for Team Canada, was roasted by another NHL’s ex-player after publishing the excitement on the call of President Donald Trump to The American team before the final of the 4 nations between the two countries.
Akim Aliu, a Ukranian Canadian Canadian hockey player who has rebounded in several countries, while playing seven games with Calgary’s Flames in the NHL, responded to a subban position on X.
Subban’s position was in response to Trump saying that he would call the United States team before the 4 Nations final in Boston against Team Canada, which they previously beaten in the tournament.

This caused a long post of Aliu, who started by saying that he knew the Subban family well.

Aliu continued to avoid subban – who is currently an ESPN analyst – ultimately calling him a “shame” and a “humiliation of the country even in which you were born and raised”.
“I have known you since I was ten years old and I played with you, so I would say that I know you better than most at a deeper level. You were a hell of a player and instead of using your platform, You have done everything in your power to gain acceptance and popularity, nothing with you has never been authentic but transactional and generally for advertising reasons.

Subban did not publicly respond to Aliu’s comments about him.
Aliu, who was born in Nigeria and finally became a choice of second round of the Chicago Blackhawks in 2007, has played for many teams since then.
He recently experienced a passage with San Jose Barracuda, the AHL of the Sharks of San Jose AHL, after having signed a professional test contract during the 2023-24 season. He made three appearances for them, where he totaled any goal.
Aliu also played professionally in Slovakia, Chechy, Russia and Sweden during his career.

Subban has a much longer NHL career, making three star teams during its 13 years as one of the best defenders in the League.
He not only won gold at the Sochi Olympic Games in 2014 with Team Canada, but he was also the winner of the Junior World Championships with the country in 2008 and 2009.
