Guerin appeared on “America’s Newsroom” on Monday and he was asked if the fight had been ignited due to the hoots, the previous heat between players or political conflicts between the United States and Canada. Guerin said he thought it was all the above.

The United States will play Thursday evening in the final. Canada will play Finland on Monday, and a victory for one or the other of the teams will make them play Americans for the title.
