From now on, unknown shipping messages are automatically filtered outside your reception box and stored in a separate area. These texts cannot enter your reception box as long as you do not approve of their sender.
You can authorize messages sensitive to time – for example, monitoring of alerts for packages or updates for food delivery. There are different categories for filtered messages, including personal messages from companies, transactions, promotions and more. Each group can be tilted individually.
3. Background sounds
The background sounds have been presented on iPhones for a little while now, but the number and type of sounds have been extended in iOS 26. There are now options for rain on roofs, planes, crackling fire, quiet nights, etc.
These can provide a soothing ambient environment to help you work, sleep or focus. You can activate them in the Settings app or add them to your control center for easy access.
4. Reminders of the dirty lens
The more you use your iPhone, the more likely you are to damage your camera lenses accidentally – since they are such a big protuberances at the back of your phone, they are quite difficult to avoid. But fatty fingerprints can ruin your photos in a subtle way that you may not even notice before the moment for a long time.
To avoid this scenario, iOS 26 can alert you when it thinks that your goals have been salis and let you know that it is time to give them a soft cleaning.
5. Improved flight characteristics
Whether you are a frequent leaflet or someone who simply makes the occasional trip of airlines, you can benefit from the upgrading of the IOS 26 pension pass. It is much easier to prepare your passes and follow flights in real time.
Although you can previously store boarding leaves in the Apple Wallet application, this update now brings even more features to your iPhone. You will be able to see the Apple Maps instructions to bring you to the right terminal, follow your luggage with the search for my application, and more.
There is also a new live activity that displays relevant information on monitoring flights, such as the arrival terminal, the luggage complaint number, flight progress, as well as other useful details. This was previously available in applications like Flighty, but this is the first time that Apple has offered it as a native iOS functionality.
