Tharparkar:
With heavy rain that searches parts of the district, 52 cattle are dead, in three distinct incidents, after being struck by lightning.
Near the village of Shahmeer Vekiya in Islamkot Tehsil, lightning has struck and killed 50 goats belonging to Jafar and Saeendad Vekiyo. Similarly, in the village of Tagusar in Nagarparkar Tehsil, a camel belonging to Ghulam Ali died after being burned by lightning, while a cow belonging to Muhammad Lanjo was killed in the lanja colony of the city of Islamkot.
The inhabitants urged the Govt to the installation of grounding stems in the district, to help prevent human and financial losses.
