A complete security plan was designed for Pakistan Super League (PSL) matches. At a complete and infallible security plan has been prepared for the matches to take place at the Karachi National Bank Cricket stadium for season 10 of the PSL, which started yesterday.
During PSL matches, 6,700 police officers will offer security tasks in various places. According to the plan, 1,666 security personnel including 950 SSU commandos and police commandos, 1,390 of the traffic police, 328 of the special branch and the district police personnel as well as other law enforcement agencies will carry out safety tasks at Karachi airport, routes, hotels and other locations.
To guarantee security, elite shooters have been deployed in sensitive locations. In addition, a special team of weapons and tactics (SWAT) will be on high alert at the SSU headquarters. This team will also be on patrol in the stadium to deal with any urgency. A special SSU order and control bus will also be deployed to monitor the law and order in the stadium.
There will be a strict ban on the use of GNC and drone cylinders in the stadium premises. The authorities have undertaken to ensure that a safe and peaceful environment is provided to players, officials and spectators during PSL 10 matches in Karachi. Spectators are asked to cooperate with law enforcement organizations and follow security protocols so that this event can be organized successfully and peacefully.
