Responding to concerns over health and safety, Dr Attaur Rehman, Secretary Hajj, said strict measures had been taken to address all complaints received from pilgrims. This year, a strict policy will be put in place to ensure that sick people, including those with terminal cancer, tuberculosis or pregnant women in their final months, will not be allowed to travel for Hajj.
