It is rare for a animated project to lead our weekly overview of the best new films and television programs on the best streaming services in the world.
There is the first time for everything, however – and, fortunately, for the animated adaptation of Netflix of the popular The devil can cry Series of video games, this moment is now.
You are not interested in this particular project? Do not worry, because there are six other wonderful films and television series and / or much awaited to wrap your eye globes this weekend (from April 4 to 6). Without further ado, then, here is what we recommend that you broadcast over the next two days. – Tom Power, senior entertainment journalist
Devil May Cry (Netflix)
To watch
I easily admit that I do not see a lot of lively TV adaptation from Netflix of beloved video game franchises (don’t worry, EsotericYou will always be in my heart).
As a big fan of Capcom – and more recently, from Ninja Theory – The devil can cry (DMC) Games, however, you can bet that I was sitting the first day to see the Demon Dante Slice hunter and pull the worst that hell can make their way.
Directed by Adil Shankar, that is to say the brain behind other Netflix adaptations inspired by the anime acclaimed by critics but underestimated, including CastleStreaming them Dmc TV Reimagining has all the tools necessary to enter our best Netflix Hall of Fame emissions. Make sure you have Ebony, Ivory and the rebellion to hand over while you are looking at him, everyone. – TP
A real pain (Disney +)

To watch
I have still not seen the beginnings of director of Jesse Eisenberg, When you have finished saving the world, But that does not mean that I am not excited to look at this, especially with Kieran Culkin winning the best support actor of this year Oscar.
A real pain Also has two BAFTA to his credit and the tech approval scheme as one of the best films of 2024. So, if you are still not sure to broadcast it on Disney + this weekend – the film made its starting in Hulu in January – then let these doubts fade.
This comedy of comforting comedy follows Eisenberg and Culkin, who play two cousins during a trip to Poland to honor their grandmother who ends up taking them to a completely different trip. This is undoubtedly one of the best Disney + films that you watch. – Amelia Schwanke, senior entertainment editor
The Bondman (Video Prime)

To watch
Kevin Bacon as a demonic premium hunter in a new Gothic series with a soundtrack of blues music? You read that right.
Le Bondman Perhaps not on your first-rate video radar, but, with a critical score of 85% RT (at the time of writing), it should be. On the basis of this alone, this original TV Amazon will make one of the best first -rate video programs – and it is easy to see why when you hear that this is compared to similar ritals like similar as Constantine And Ash against dead evil.
Addressing Techradar, the producer of the series, Erik Oleson, revealed that the objective was to “create a cry aloud, laugh aloud from the family dramatic with the tradition of the Appalachians with the Chasse aume and the Music”. BACON POKING SAWS through the Front of Demons is just for the right measure! – AS
Y2K (max)

To watch
Y2k is the last A24 film to make his debut on Max, but, unfortunately, he has criticized critically and is among the least classified films in the studio.
With 42% on rotten tomatoes, Y2k will not appear on our best list of Max movies. But, if you want to decide on this subject, here is what it is about: a group of groups in a group crushes a New Year’s party, but the dramas typical of young adults are the least of their concerns when the machines get up against humanity.
Inspired by the problem of real Y2K but constantly not to be attached (the millennials, you will know what I am talking about!), This film transforms a technology problem in something darker, with a little dispersed humor throughout it is not the best film A24, but it is certainly unique! – Lucy Buglass, senior entertainment writer
Pulse (Netflix)

To watch
With a medical drama The Pitt Winning glowing criticism of criticism and general audiences following its release from season 1 on Max in January, it is the Tour de Netflix to * AHEM * Surgically improve its own catalog of projects in hospital.
Pulsewhich was renewed for a second season long before its first outing landed on the Titan in streaming this Thursday, April 3, looks like a modern vision of the classic medical drama Er. Indeed, with its Romanesque scenarios, its melodrama, and its dramatization of the functioning of medical installations, it is easy to see why such comparisons have been made.
Will this define our hearts and will she get a place on our best Netflix series list? Time will tell us. – TP
Die for sex (Disney + / Hulu)

To watch
I love a good podcast, and Theis New Hulu and Disney + Series are based on a very sincere series. Die for sex is based on Nikki Boyer, who sits with her best friend Molly Kochan to get frank on her experiences after having received a diagnosis of stadium breast cancer.
The show dramatizes Kochan’s life, with Michelle Williams in the main role as a woman who finishes her 15-year-old marriage to explore herself and her sexuality before her death. Kochan’s real life died in 2019, and his heritage lives through this series, Boyer as an executive producer.
Through eight episodes, we follow the life and experiences of Kochan, with a lot of humor balanced with the drama. It is quite the roller coaster and very worthy mountains. One to keep an eye on our best Hulu shows and our best Disney +lists. – Kg
Gone Girls: The Long Island Serial Killer (Netflix)

To watch
Not at all affiliated with David Fincher’s film, this new True-Crime documentary series explores hunting for Rex Heuermann, alias “The Long Island Serial Killer”.
Said from the point of view of his victims, their relatives and the police, Gouilles reveals how the local New York architect managed to hide at sight and exhibits a network of corruption, but it is not the end of history. Gouilles Focuses on a live affair, which means that there is a very real chance, more information could be released on Heuermann and his crimes.
Addressing Tudum, director Liz Garbus said: “Once we have finished and returned our cuts to Netflix, another victim was added to [Heuermann’s] role. Will there be more by the time we disseminate? It is possible. Will there be more by the time we go on trial if they are judged? It’s likely. “- Kg
