With Boys‘Jack Quaid and Prey‘s amber in the middle, Novocaine sees the character of the first Nathan embarking on a quest for a single man to save the sherry of the last after having taken the hostage by certain bank thieves. The torsion in this story? Nathan cannot feel pain, so he is at least partly equipped to deal with the physical damage he will suffer while he tries to save his colleague.
An airy and fun safe film, Novocaine was a success with criticism and the general public earlier this year, so those of a gender persuasion will certainly want to pump it in their veins this weekend. – TP
