My Oxford year (Netflix)
To watch
Remember how A day Suddenly, happened on Netflix and instantly brought us our eyes out? I have a funny feeling that My year of Oxford will have exactly the same effect.
One of the new Netflix films in August tells the story of the ambitious American student goes to Oxford in England to realize his dream, but meets a charming local that changes the two lives. I wonder if this room happens to be tall, dark and beautiful?
Since it is also an adaptation of Julia Whelan’s novel, we can almost guarantee My year of Oxford Go be a slam dunk to stream it. Cue a lot of fantasy tinged with rose, an influx of Americans on social networks who think that all of England is like Notting hillAnd bundles of gentle sweet chemistry. Frankly, it is cheaper than trying to study abroad. – Jasmine Valentine, entertainment writer
Wakanda’s eyes (Disney +)

To watch
The latest Marvel project to have award -winning creative fingerprints of Ryan Coogler, Wakanda’s eyes was launched on Disney + three weeks earlier than anyone planned.
A series of anthology in four parts which also explores the history of Wakanda, alias the technologically advanced African nation that exists in the Marvel cinematographic universe (MCU), this Black Panther spin-off series follows various artifacts and stolen artifacts from their country. Wakanda’s eyes is available in full now on Disney + too, so you will not be forced to wait a week between each 30 -minute episode.
It remains to be seen if he will win a place on our list of the best Disney +programs. But, with Coogler attached, I would be shocked if this magnificent animated series in the air does not continue the recent hot street in Marvel (in my opinion, in any case) on large and small screens. – TP
Final destination: Bloodlines (HBO Max)

To watch
I really appreciate these new horror payments with excellent criticism, right? Saw x impressed criticism after years of flops and Final destination BloodlinesThe sixth film of the franchise, did the same earlier this year. So much so, it is now technically considered to be the best of the franchise.
Fortunately, the last entry in the series is now streaming on HBO Max. Prepare to be afraid, well, roughly any The daily object while the franchise continues to kill its subjects in the most unexpected way. If you want something to satisfy your thirst for blood this weekend, look no further. – Lucy Buglass,, Senior entertainment editor
War chief (Apple TV +)

To watch
I always felt that there are not enough television programs that plunge into Hawaiian history, which is why I am so happy that Apple TV + finally intensified.
Warlord is a new historical drama that highlights the powerful chiefdoms of the Polynesian islands before colonization resumed everything at the turn of the 18th century. Jason Momoa plays Ka’iana, a warrior chief determined to unite the four Hawaiian kingdoms while Western forces are looming. It is based on real events and as visually amazing as culturally rich.
The first two episodes are streaming now, with new episodes falling every Friday to the final on September 19. I have already had this on my surveillance list – and if you are even a little curious, I would recommend diving into this new original Apple TV – Amelia Schwanke, senior entertainment editor

Miley Cyrus: Something beautiful (Hulu / Disney +)
First there was the film by Taylor Swift Tour Tour, then came Renaissance: a Beyoncé film. Now it’s Miley’s turn to shine, with his own musical film Something beautiful Being self-written as a “pop opera”, and is now on Hulu and Disney +. Think less Starlight Express And a more chic visual film, which is essentially a continuous clip for each piece of the album synonymous.
Essentially, this one is ideal for singing at Bangerz (see what I did there?), You may have missed Cyrus last year, who was busy renamed as a pop-rockic that we learn to love again. The rumor wants that if you then broadcast the album on Spotify, you could be invited to an event on the theme of Hannah Montana (this is not confirmed, but dare to dream). – Jv
