The Bridgerton Chronicles season 4 part 1 (Netflix)
Look on it
The Bridgerton Chronicles Or A Cinderella story? In the first part of The Bridgerton Chronicles season 4, the two merge as we follow the budding romance between Benedict (Luke Thompson) and servant Sophie (Yerin Ha). Sophie sneaks off to a masquerade ball and the two unexpectedly kiss, with Sophie leaving behind only a glove to identify her.
Our unlucky servant leads our batch of new characters in season 4, with Sophie working for the Penwoods – a family with more than one secret up their sleeve. It’s Violet (Ruth Gemmell) who really sings this season, thanks to her slow alliance with Lord Anderson (Daniel Francis). Learn more about this in my The Bridgerton Chronicles review of season 4 part 1. – Jasmine Valentine, entertainment journalist
Wonder Man (Disney+)
Look on it
Lights, camera and… action! Wonderful manthe first Marvel TV show of 2026, has finally debuted on Disney+ – and it’s bonkers.
Starring Yahya Abdul-Mateen II and Ben Kingsley, the Marvel Phase 6 TV show isn’t your typical MCU offering. My opinion on Wonderful man explains why in more detail, but rest assured, if you’re tired of superhero movies and TV series all doing the same thing, this one is a big creative turn for the comic book giant that actually sticks the landing.

The Demolition Team (First Video)
Look on it
Jason Momoa and Dave Bautista team up for The demolition teama buddy cop movie in which they play step-brothers trying to solve the mystery of their father’s murder in Hawaii.
As a free cop and a Navy SEAL respectively, they have different approaches to things, but can settle their differences to try and get justice for their father. Something tells me they won’t be polite about it either.
With a 79% rating on Rotten Tomatoes, this new Prime Video movie is a fun, action-packed entry that will make for an ideal weekend watch if you’re looking for gripping fight scenes, mystery, and lots of laughs. – Lucy Buglas, senior entertainment editor
Shrinking season 3 (Apple TV)
Look on it
It’s time to reunite with Dr. Paul Rhoades (Harrison Ford) and therapist Jimmy Laird (Jason Segel), who are ready and waiting on the couch for you to return. Contraction season 3.
There’s only one episode so far of Apple TV’s returning favorite, but it kicks off the new season with the bells on. Still grieving after the death of his wife, Jimmy has a lot of work to do to try to move forward with his life. Paul, meanwhile, faces changes of a different kind as his Parkinson’s disease continues to worsen.
Jimmy’s daughter Alice (Lukita Maxwell) and colleagues Gaby (Jessica Williams) and Doctor Julie Baram (Wendie Malick) all return for the Apple TV series, alongside some interesting new characters, including a patient named Gerry (Michael J. Fox) and Jimmy’s father (Jeff Daniels). – Amelia Schwanke, Entertainment Editor
If I Had Legs I’d Kick You (HBO Max)
It’s been over a year since If I had legs I’d kick you premiered at the Sundance Film Festival, and while UK audiences are still waiting for its theatrical release (boo), US viewers can finally stream the A24 hit on HBO Max. Unfortunately, Australians will have to wait a little longer to watch it at home.
Described as a parental fever dream, the film may be billed as a dark comedy, but it feels more like a waking nightmare. Rose Byrne plays a stressed-out mother caring for her sick daughter without her husband’s support, while dealing with a missing person and a hostile therapist. Talk about a pressure cooker setup!
Byrne’s acceptance speech for winning this year’s Golden Globe for “Best Actress in a Comedy or Musical” was one of the highlights of the ceremony, which is why I’m already showing off her Oscar win – let’s just hope her husband doesn’t miss this ceremony too, for yet another reptile exhibit…– AS
School Spirits season 3 (Paramount+)
We’re spoiled for choice when it comes to young adult dramas, with Tell me lies season 3 and School Spirits season 3 is now simulcast. It ended with a shocking twist last time, with Maddie (Peyton List) back in her body, while her best friend Simon (Kristian Ventura) passed on to the afterlife.
The stakes are high from the start, with the third season of the Paramount+ show introducing an all-new character in the district’s superintendent, Dr. Deborah Hunter-Price (Jennifer Tilly). If you pay attention, you’ll also see singer Lizzy McAlpine’s acting debut in the early flashbacks. – Joint venture
Take This (Netflix)
Look on it
As one of the UK’s most iconic pop acts, I was one of millions of people who attended Take That’s ‘Progress’. reunion tour in 2011, a historic event as it was the first time all five members performed together following Robbie Williams’ acrimonious exit.
As superfans know all too well, there have been plenty of ups and downs for the boyband, and this three-part Netflix series tells the “untold story” of that journey, with never-before-seen archival footage that charts their rise, fall, and record-breaking reunion. It’s already the #2 Netflix series in the UK too, so it’s clear that Take That fans have no patience when it comes to streaming all three installments. – kg
