The majority of Pakistani are satisfied with political and military leaders for having given an appropriate response to Indian aggression, because 97% of the respondent judged the performance of the army as “good or very good”, according to a final survey.
The investigation entitled “Public opinion after the ceasefire of Pakistan of India: complete analysis” led by Gallup Pakistan between May 13 and 18.
According to the survey, 96% of compatriots said that the Pakistani army triumphant during the recent war between the two nuclear arms neighbors in South Asia.

Public opinion on the armed forces has also improved considerably after the conflict, 93% of Pakistanis saying that their opinion on the armed forces had changed positively.
73% of respondents said they were satisfied with the government’s performances and welcomed its success on the diplomatic front, while 12% took a neutral position, 7% seemed angry and 8% abstained to give an opinion, according to the survey report.

The Gallup investigation also said that the Pakistanis also praised political parties for having taken a stand against India. 65% of the respondent described the role of the Pakistani Muslim League in power – the example of Nawaz (PML -N), 58% praised the Pakistani peoples (PPP) party while 60% called the role of the “good” of the PTI.

87% of respondents thought that recent war had been imposed in Pakistan by India.
Answering a question on the ceasefire, 91% of Pakistanis considered the government’s decision to accept the cease-fire as the good, while 6% opposed it.
When India was asked if India would fully respect the ceasefire agreement, 52% of Pakistanis seemed confident, saying that India should continue the ceasefire, while 34% expressed doubt, saying that India would break the ceasefire agreement, and 14% said they knew nothing about it.
