When asked in an interview with Techradar Gaming in Gamescom 2025 which the studio was able to achieve in the weeks that followed its delay, the director of the game Nathan Lemaire said that he was mainly focused on the correction of bugs and the polishing of major features and main content.
“A great thing that we push is all that concerns, you know, the reaction of Pitch, physicity and gore,” said Lemaire. “So really like the idea that the reaction of the blows is well connected and the output [has] Satisfactory results and realistic results … We have also improved the quantity of gore and we have in our system of body damage. We have therefore improved the quality and the number of assets triggered by bodily damage. So what is [we] Do, a lot of improvement in user interface animations also. “”
He continued, saying that the delay also allowed the team to polish additional locations that he could not have done otherwise because they were not a high priority.
“But we have time to do so,” said the director. “So we will do it because we want to polish everything in terms of, you know, when we play, it balances polishing, get this system to have a gameplay [that is] Even more balanced.
“There is always something to do, because nothing is really perfect, right? There is always something we can do. So, anything, but as the mentality is like this: pushing as much as possible to do the best as possible.”
