Dallas Cowboys star Dak Prescott urged his teammates to open their wallets for the holidays and give a little something extra to the staff members they work closely with.
Prescott appeared in a meeting during the latest episode of “Hard Knocks,” addressing his teammates.
He guided them through a process that allows them to offer a bonus to staff members during the holiday season.

“Obviously we get paid well,” the veteran quarterback said. “The coaches are paid. You’ll see support staff, some of them are paid very well. However, these other people who do a lot for us, what do you want to help with just saying thank you? So all of these are Christmas bonuses. It’s something we do every year. Everyone has a sheet. It’s all going to add up. All our money goes into this kitty.
“Give more to the guys who work with you. The guy who snaps the ball with the O-line. The guy who holds the dummies for the D-line. The guys who take care of your equipment and clean your locker. This is an opportunity to give them more. The main thing, again, is not to make things too difficult.”

Prescott emphasized, “Don’t be cheap.”
The Cowboys are known for their charitable donations during the Christmas season.
Jerry Jones, his family and the organization partner with the Salvation Army to raise funds for various programs.
