Microsoft is hit by a major outage that has paralyzed its 365 products for thousands of users.
The outage largely affected the business community.
Reports of technical outages began coming in early in the afternoon on Thursday, January 22, affecting major productivity platforms such as Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft 365, and Microsoft Teams.
DownDetector confirmed that over 45,000 reports were logged for Microsoft 365 and around 40,000 for Outlook.
This prevented sending or receiving emails, accessing files, or participating in team meetings.
The outage is confirmed by Microsoft officials.

Officials added that the team was working to restore infrastructure to recover service traffic.
A day earlier, users experienced a similar outage attributed to a third-party network issue.
Currently, Microsoft Support teams are working to resolve the issue for affected systems. however, no specific timeline has yet been provided.
