In total, the victories include three in freestyle skiing, two each in speed skating (both by Jordan Stolz), alpine skiing and figure skating and one each in bobsleigh and women’s ice hockey thanks to an exhilarating comeback and overtime victory over arch-rival Canada.

The Americans have totaled 31 medals, including 12 silver and eight bronze, and there are still a few opportunities left before the Games end on Sunday.

The men’s hockey team will play for gold against Canada on the final day of play, which also marks the 46th anniversary of the “Miracle on Ice.”
