The Inland Revenue Department (IRD) of Azad Jammu & Kashmir (AJK) has launched ‘AJK Tax Asaan Mobile App’ and ‘BI Revenue Collection/IT Dashboard’ to ensure direct, timely and efficient communication between taxpayers and the department.
AJK Minister of Inland Revenue and Finance Chaudhry Qasim Majeed officially inaugurated the modern digital systems aimed at improving revenue collection.
A demo of AJK Tax Asaan mobile application and BI Revenue Collection/IT dashboard was presented at the launch ceremony. The officials highlighted that after the successful implementation of AJK Point-of-Sale (POS) billing system, the integration of advanced digital modules will further improve the transparency and efficiency of revenue collection.
Speaking on the occasion, Majeed said that the main objective of the new digital platforms is to provide taxpayers with an integrated, secure and user-friendly system.
He added that through the mobile application, taxpayers will be able to check invoices issued under the POS billing system, view their registration details, access returns-related information, make online tax payments, track the status of files or applications and manage various online modules and services of the AJ&K IRIS system right from their mobile devices.
