Robbie Williams has decided to part ways with his long-time manager after 14 years.
THE Patience The 52-year-old singer said goodbye to Michael Loney, who works with ie:music, the company co-founded by Robbie’s late manager David Enthoven.
In a statement made to The SunRobbie said: “It’s been an incredible time and I’ve been fortunate to be led by some truly wonderful people, including David Enthoven, Tim Clark and Michael Loney.
“However, at this particularly dynamic time in my career, with so many opportunities available to me and with the music industry changing so quickly, I felt it was time for a change, for a new energy.
“I’m currently building a whole new team and I’m extremely excited about the future.”
A source told the publication the split was “entirely amicable”, with Michael stepping down as a director of Robbie’s eight companies on Thursday.
The insider added that Robbie is hungry for “more success and more success” and that shaking up his team gives him the feeling of a fresh start.
It comes after Robbie Williams revealed a horrific injury suffered during his ski holiday with his family.
The singer was injured after cutting the tip of his finger while skiing with his wife, Ayda Field, and their four children.
