Rawalpindi:
Pakistan lawyer Tehreke-E-insaf (PTI), Faisal, Chaudhry, said that the founding president of the former Prime Minister and the Party, Imran Khan, had ordered his party to launch a large-scale movement against The government after the sacred month of Ramazan.
Chaudhry said that the leaders of the PTI Asad Qaiser and Omar Ayub have been assigned tasks for this purpose. He said Imran had called to establish contacts with the head of the Baloch Yakjehti committee (BYC) Mahrang Baloch, as well as to the confidence of the opposition parties.
Addressing the media outside of Adiala prison, Faisal Chaudhry said that the founder of the PTI had asked his party to launch a large -scale movement against the government after Ramazan.
Last December, Imran threatened to start a national movement of civil disobedience following a government repression against its supporters who killed several people.
The former Prime Minister demanded that a judicial inquiry be carried out in the death of at least 12 of his supporters during a repression of the government of November 26 on what he called “peaceful” demonstrators in Islamabad .
In addition, he called for an investigation into the “police Onslaughts” against his party workers during national demonstrations in May 2023, who led to several deaths and asked for the release of hundreds of his party workers detained during the antigan -government manifestations.
Later, the government created a negotiation committee to engage with PTI and examine the requests for Imran. Despite several meetings, the two negotiation panels failed to conclude an agreement.
By reflecting on the negotiations, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif noted that the government had accepted PTI’s proposal, trained a committee and initiated talks through the president of the National Assembly. The committee had asked PTI to submit its requests in writing and the government agreed to provide a written response. However, the Prime Minister said PTI withdrew from the meeting scheduled for January 28.
Meanwhile, the spokesperson for the PTI negotiation committee, Sahibzada Hamid Raza, published a declaration on X, declaring that the opposition committee had been officially dissolved in accordance with the instructions of the party founder.
Raza added that the Committee had been converted to a coordination committee, which would endeavor to make a great opposition alliance against the alliance to power.
Addressing the media, Faisal Chaudhry stressed that the “open letters” presented by Imran to the chief of the army underlined the facts that the establishment was to consider. He also revealed that Sanaullah Masti Khel had been inducted from the political committee.
Commenting on the legal proceedings in progress, he noted that another hearing of the GHQ affair, part of what he called a series of false cases, had taken place.
He said the people who had left the PTI had not faced any May 9 accusation. He also criticized the “controlled trials” within Adiala prison, where “selective access” is granted to lawyers and journalists.
Reiterating his position, the founder of the PTI underlined the need to cope with increasing terrorism in the country and condemned the “abolition of the judiciary”, said Chaudhry.
He argued that the independent media and the judiciary are “reversed”, while the closings on the Internet discourage foreign investments.
