Whether you have just bought the best Apple watch on the market, like the Apple Watch Ultra 2, or you have a hand on the Apple Watch SE 2 budgetary model, opening your Apple Watch and putting it for the first time is a great experience.
You may have an idea of what your Apple Watch can TO DOOr how do you want to use it, but what about some of the settings and adjustments you can use to really customize your Apple Watch experience?
For as long as I have been a technological user, I have been fascinated by the personalization of gadgets, be it the theme of Windows XP or the color of the menus on my Sony Ericsson K850i.
Having wore an Apple Watch for 10 years, I know one thing or two on the parameters that you should certainly modify the first day. Here are my go-tos.
1. Your Apple Watch face
If you are new to Apple Watch, the very first thing you should do on your new is to change the face of the watch. You will not find third -party options as you could wear an operating system or a garmin, but there are many apple options to choose and they are very customizable.
To change your watch face, press the center of your Apple Watch screen until it vibrates. Then simply swing the options until you see one that you like.
If you type To modify You can change the facials, including colors and complications (small glancable information nuggets) that appear.
2. Silent mode
Your Apple Watch is designed to sit down quite discreetly on your wrist, and one of the joys to use one is that you can get notifications without too much disturbance, or for yourself or for others.
Obviously, if you have accessibility needs, you may want to leave Apple Watch’s notification sounds. For me, however, it is the first rocking that I turn on. The watch vibrates slowly each time I get a notification (if I activated them), and I certainly do not need this drilling ding Tell everyone in the surroundings that I have just received a notification.
Just press the side button on your Apple watch and select the Bell icon on the left to silence your Apple Watch.
3. Back to the clock

Apple Watch is quite easy to navigate and move between the applications and the watch’s face is quite simple. However, another parameter that I like to modify is the return to the clock setting. This brings your Apple Watch back to this brilliant watch face that you have just automatically customized once you have put your wrist.
By default, it is defined for a two -minute delay, but I like to select AlwaysSo that I can drop my wrist at any time and know that my Apple watch displays the time, rather than sensitive information or an application where I could accidentally suspend a training session or change something without knowing it.
Just press the digital crown, scroll through Parametersselect Generaland then Back to the clock To switch this.
4. Siri
Siri is not particularly useful these days, and is lagging behind the rival virtual assistants of Google and Android, not to mention the more advanced AI offers that eclipse the delay in Apple intelligence that he needs a lot.
To this end, I always turn on Siri on my Apple watch to a certain extent. In the Siri Section of the Settings Application on your Apple Watch, you can change how and when Siri responds to your entries.
I actually prefer to select Listen In “Hey Siri”, this way, it is much more difficult to accidentally trigger. I also tend to leave Raise to talk on, and extinguish Press the digital crown.
I cannot count the number of times I used to accidentally activate Siri during training by pressing the digital crown, so it works well for me. I can access Siri by raising my wrist very deliberately, but never accidentally triggered it with a button press.
However, you may want to consider the opposite, leaving the crown and deactivating the increase to speak. Or you can deactivate Siri on your watch to prevent it from bothering you.
5. screenshot
A more recent addition to my settings directory is screenshots. You can take a screenshot on Apple Watch as well as iPhone, pressing the two buttons on the side at the same time.
I cannot think of any scenario by which taking a screenshot on the Apple Watch would be necessary. However, as with Siri on the digital crown, it is very easy to do accidentally, especially during training sessions. As such, I turn off screenshots in the general settings section, to prevent my photo library from being timed with random shots of my watch face.
