- iOS 18.5 facilitates the simplification of your Apple Mail experience on iPhone

Apple published the first beta version of iOS 18.5 for developers, just days after the publication of iOS 18.4 for public release, and it presents an interesting way to reverse a controversial change.
Although IOS 18.4 has brought several new iPhone features, such as priority notifications and the charming ambient music functionality, iOS 18.5 is so far lighter on important additions to iPhone experience.
That said, like the 9TO5MAC note, the beta version facilitates the opposite of a controversial modification of the default messaging application of the iPhone.
The mail application obtained an overhaul in iOS 18.2, adding Apple Intelligence categories and features to what was previously one of Apple’s simplest mobile applications.
E -mail being one of the basic functions of a modern smartphone, some users have not been satisfied with such a major re -flow – a Reddit wire on the Sanderdit R / iPhone, for example, contains many bored commentators to deplore the new categorization features.
iOS 18.5 moves certain options, which facilitates reversal. Previously, a menu accessible in the upper right corner of the application page of the application allowed users to switch between category view and list view, but now, options to deactivate group photos by sender and contact have been added.
This should make users faster and easier for users to return to a simpler messaging experience, while simultaneously making new more accessible features as you go.
It should be noted that Apple has never made it impossible to deactivate the messaging features added in iOS 18.2 – These are always optional additions. As for the other aspects of BETA 1 iOS 18.5, the official publication notes are quite light on the information. There are some bug corrections for the Vision Pro application and the writing tools for Apple Intelligence tools, as well as the Storekit developer framework.
