In the post-debate survey, the percentage of those who did not agree with the trans inclusion 90%, while those who agreed with it fell to 6%, and the undecided fell to 3%.

“I will not use a biological woman because she insists that there is another type of woman. There is not. There is only one woman,” said Sey. “There was intimidation in culture around the language that we cannot use … I try to use terms that reflect biological reality.”
Sey has also cited several statistics throughout the night, concerning the natural physical qualities which often offer men physical advantages compared to women, and a study of the United Nations noting that nearly 900 biological women have lacked victories because they were defeated by transgender athletes.
The study, “Violence against women and girls in sport“found more than 600 athletes was not a medalist in more than 400 competitions in 29 different sports, totaling more than 890 medals, according to information obtained until March 30.

Sey’s argument was also based on the conviction that sports, especially at a high level, are not supposed to be “inclusive” for a particular group, and that sports are fundamentally supposed to be “exclusive” for the sake of competitiveness.
Meanwhile, Bolling’s argument against Sey was based on the premise of advancing the rights of transgender people as a whole.
During the debate, Bolling admitted that the support for trans inclusion in female sports, at the moment, was not a “popular” position. He then compared the question of transplant -in to the previous movements of civil rights, in particular the right to vote for women, racial segregation and even the “end of slavery”, affirming that the defense of these questions was not popular in the past either.
“Civil rights are not a popularity competition,” said Bolling.
