- The independent test laboratory confirms that Saily’s advertising blocker reduces the use of mobile data by 28.6%
- The announcement blocker blocks ads and trackers at the level of the DNS filtering
- The test has shown that Saily has used less data than four other ESIM suppliers on 22 websites
While using an ESIM for international trips, users often end up paying for mobile data consumed by announcements that they do not want or understand.
However, new tests have revealed that Saily’s blocker features block ads at the network. Powered by the protection of NordVPN threats, the function of advertising blocker applies DNS filtering to block advertisements and prevents websites from loading malicious announcements.
The test was independently carried out by laboratories on the west coast on 22 world websites covering games, purchases, travel and entertainment – with results showing a reduction of 28.6% of data use with Saily.
Integrated safety characteristics
Supported by NordVPN, Saily relies on an expertise established in security features. When Tech Radar Pro spoke with the CEO of Saily, Vykintas Maknickas, he underlined how they create “security at the network for travel ESIM connectivity”.
The continuation of SAILY security features reflects a broader evolution of the industry towards a low -cost and safe solution for travel.
While ESIMS’s demand continues to increase, providers like Saily are distinguished from other players by creating a versatile travel service.
Other security features such as web protection and virtual location are built at the network level and are easily available with ESIM, provided they are activated in the Saily application.
“By traveling abroad, users are often exposed to advertisements in local languages they do not even understand. They pay to see this unrelevant content by buying and using their mobile data,” added Maknickas.
Comparisons have also been made with the average of the data use industry and compared with four other ESIM – SAILY suppliers, with the activated announcement blocker, used less data on each website.
“A web navigation user with a 5 GB plan could expect 1.43 GB of data savings. With these savings, the cost by GigaCtet also becomes lower, which is a good deal from the consumer’s point of view,” added Maknickas.
