Tiktok has launched a new AI feature that can transform your photos into videos, and it is available for free in Tiktok Stories.
The new feature, called Tiktok Ai Alive, allows you to transform static photos into “dynamic and immersive videos directly in tiktok stories”.
Tiktok says that AI Alive “uses intelligent editing tools that give anyone, whatever the editing experience, the ability to transform static images into captivating and short videos improved with motion, atmospheric and creative effects.”
The launch press release emphasizes Tiktok’s objective to arouse creativity within users, although we have not yet seen how the greatest creators of the platform provide this new AI tool.
Some examples of how users can use AI Alive include “capturing a serene sunset photo and transforming it effortlessly into a cinematographic clip” or taking “a group selfie and giving it life as an animated memory that highlights the subtle gestures and expressions of friends or family”.

AI Alive is very easy to use – you just need a device with the installed tiktok app. Once you have connected and have everything ready to leave, follow these steps below to give life to your image:
- Open camera by pressing blue + At the top of the page of the reception box or the profile page.
- Choose a single photo in your history album.
- The Ai Alive icon will appear in the toolbar on the right side on the photo editing page.
- After having created and published your story Ai Alive, people can see the story of the interior for you and follow the flows, as well as on your profile page, giving your subscribers a variety of ways to connect with your content.
