The Senate unanimously adopted a resolution congratulating the armed forces for their successful conduct of operation Bunyanum Marsoos And offer an energetic response to Indian assault during the recent military confrontation.
The resolution, presented by the Minister of Law Azam Nazeer Tarar on Thursday, praised the Pakistani army, the Air Force and the Nation as a whole for their unity and their resilience in external threats.
“The house pays a rich tribute to the Pakistani armed forces for providing a decisive response to India and completing the Bunyanum Marsoos operation with professional excellence,” said the resolution.
The document has reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to regional and global peace, while firmly rejecting the suspension of India from the Industry Water Treaty, describing it as a threat to Pakistan national security.
He also reiterated support for the resolution of the cashmere dispute in accordance with the resolutions of the United Nations Security Council, calling for a peaceful dialogue.
The Senate condemned Indian attacks against mosques and innocent civilians during the conflict, describing actions such as violations of international law.
The resolution also expressed its gratitude to the Pakistani people “to put aside political differences and demonstrate national unity” and granted special recognition to the Pakistani Air Force for its role in the operation.
He concluded by warning that any future Indian mishap would continue to receive a robust and full spectrum response from Pakistan.

Earlier this week, the National Assembly also unanimously adopted a resolution congratulating the armed forces for their “exemplary professionalism, vigilance and courage” in the defense of the country’s sovereignty in response to the uninsured Indian aggression.
The resolution praised the “reservoir and exceptional responsibility of the army, describing the response to Indian strikes as” measured and adapted “.
Pakistan and ceasefire from Pakistan and India
Pakistan and India agreed with a complete and immediate ceasefire on Saturday after the days of intense military exchanges which raised fears of a large-scale conflict between the two nuclear arms neighbors.
The announcement was made for the first time by US President Donald Trump and later confirmed by Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Vice-Prime Minister Ishaq Dar, Indian Minister of External Affairs Jaishankar and US Secretary of State Marco Rubio. The tensions evolved between Pakistan and India, after an attack in Pahalgam, India illegally occupied the Jammu and the Kashmir (Iiojk). India blamed the elements based in Pakistan without providing evidence, however, Islamabad rejected the complaint.
India responded by closing the border of Wagah, revoking Pakistani visas and suspending the Water Treaty of the Indus – Mocking Pakistan labeled as an “act of war”.
The conflict has intensified with the missile attacks in India and drone incursions when it launched its Sindoor operation. The army of Pakistan launched the Bunyanum Marsoos operation in retaliation and announced that it had shot down five Indian planes, including Rafales – and intercepted 77 HAROP Israeli manufacturing drones.
After a diplomatic intervention led by Washington, the two parties agreed to stop military activity through land, air and sea. However, hours after the break, fresh skirmishes were reported on both sides of the control line.
