The National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) has published a national weather alert, a warning of heavy rains, thunderstorms and the possibility of flooding through Pakistan from July 6 to July 10.
According to the NDMA, the cities of the provinces will undergo significant weather problems. Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Attock, Jhelum, Chakwal, Mianwali, Sargodha, Khushab, Gujranwala, Gujrat, Faisalabad, Lahore, Kasur and Okara are supposed to see the rain accompanied by rare winds and thunderstorms.
In southern Punjab, violent rainy winds are predicted in Multan, Khanewal, Bahawalpur, Bahawalnagar, Rahim Yar Khan and Dera Ghazi Khan.
Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa is also in danger, with regions like Dera, Swat, Chitral, Kohistan, Shangla, Biner, Battagram, Swabi, Nowshera, Charsadda, Malakand, Mansehra, Abbottabad, Peshawar, Mardan, Haripur, Bannu and Kohat probably to see Thunderstorms and Tour.
In the northern regions of Gilgit-Baltistan, strong precipitation is planned in Skardu, Hunza, Astore, Diamer, Ganche, Shigar, Muzaffarabad, Neelum Valley, Rawalakot, Haveli and Bagh, with a high risk of flooding in these regions.
Meanwhile, the Sindh and Balutchistan provinces are not exempt from unfavorable weather conditions. Cities like Sukkur, Nawabshah, Kashmore, Hyderabad, Karachi, Tharparkar, Mirpur Khas, Umerkot, Sanghar, Jamshoro, Tando Allahyar, Thsta, Badin, Mithi, Ghotki, Khairpur, Shikarpur, Larkana, Jacobad and Dadu are expected.
In Balutchistan, regions like Quetta, Zhob, Ziarat, Kalat, Khuzdar, Awaran, Barkhan, Jafarabad, Kohlu, Sibi, Dera Bugti, Loralai, Lasbela and Naseerabad are in alert for precipitation.

The NDMA has warned the public to stay away from weak structures, brick walls, electric posts and display panels during storms and strong winds, as they have a significant risk.
He also warned that visibility could be reduced, leading to potential accidents. Sudden floods can occur, especially in local rivers, it is therefore advisable to the public to be caution.
“The authorities were invited to prepare for any emergency situation,” said a spokesperson for the NDMA. “Citizens are encouraged to use the alert application in the event of a Pak NDMA disaster for updates and advice on weather conditions and potential dangers.”
While Pakistan is accompanied by violent time, the NDMA urges citizens to remain informed and to follow the security guidelines to minimize the risk of victims and damage caused by storms, floods and other risks linked to weather conditions.

Sudden floods and heavy rains killed 64 people and injured 117 in a week across the country, a government agency announced on Wednesday.
The highest toll was in KP, with 23 dead, including 10 children, said the National Disaster Management Authority. Fourteen of the victims were swept away by a sudden flood in the Swat valley last week, local media reported.
Sudden floods and houses collapsing from heavy rains killed 21 other people in the eastern province of Punjab, including 11 children, said authority. In the Sindh, 15 were killed, while five people died in southwest Balutchistan.
