Alibaba and Wix have just announced a new partnership, which will see that customers of the two platforms will benefit from the functionalities and services of the other.
In a press release shared with Techradar Pro Earlier this week, the two companies said that the collaboration will merge the Alibaba wholesale ecosystem with Wix website manufacturer and the electronic commerce infrastructure.
As part of the agreement, Wix Merchants will have access to the B2B market in Alibaba by simply downloading the Alibaba Vender application via the Wix market. Among other things, this will allow them to become global gold suppliers, directly connecting to millions of global buyers verified.
At the same time, Alibaba sellers can build brand B2B and D2C showcases using solutions powered by Wix. Thanks to the partnership, they will be able to use the automation solutions for Wix’s electronic commerce, as well as integrated marketing, the simplification of the development of brand identity and the achievement of a global audience – easily.

The partnership focuses on three key initiatives – the integration of seller’s applications for easy -to -integrate integration and synchronization of multiplateforms products, a source organized on the Alibaba.com wholesale market, adapted to Wix merchants and access to the AI of Wix for Alibaba.com sellers to quickly build their digital stores.
The leaders of the two companies have designed this decision as a victory for small businesses sailing in world trade complexities. “Our partnership with WIX simplifies the complexities of international trade,” said Kuo Zhang, president of Alibaba.com, “offering small businesses solutions for the supply, sale and enlargement of their global scope”.
To Nir Zohar, president of Wix, the move “opens up new powerful opportunities for our users to draw on international markets by wholesale, while giving traders Alibaba.com the possibility of creating stronger and more direct connections with their customers.”
The deployment will be progressive, the two companies said in the press release, with a number of features and improvements already planned for the future. Among them, there is the discovery of products fueled by AI, automated integration processes and intelligent product correspondence tools.
