Pakistan, China agrees to deepen the links

On Wednesday, the Foreign Ministers of Pakistan and China agreed to further strengthen their bilateral cooperation in order to promote regional peace, stability and development.

Senator Ishaq Dar and Wang Yi met at the sidelines of the Shanghai cooperation organization (SCO) in Tianjin and examined bilateral links and discussed regional and international development.

The meeting took place before Dar finished his three -day trip to China where he went to attend the meeting of OCS Foreign Ministers.

A declaration published by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar, had met Chinese Minister of Foreign Affairs Wang Yi reaffirmed the commitment of the two countries to strengthen their strategic partnership.

Dar congratulated Wang Yi for the successful accommodation of the meeting of foreign ministers and expressed his gratitude for warm hospitality extended by China during the event.

The two leaders have had in-depth discussions on questions of mutual interest, including the progress of the Chinese-Pakistani economic corridor (CPEC) and improved multilateral cooperation.

Stressing the importance of the Pakistani-China strategic cooperative cooperative partnership, the two parties expressed their satisfaction with their close collaboration in various fields.

They also reiterated their determination to further strengthen bilateral links to promote regional peace, stability and development.

The two ministers also discussed the next visit to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif took China.
