Keamri’s recently renovated fish market has drawn mass gourmets.
Colorful umbrellas, the aroma of the frying of fish in hot oil and a festive atmosphere mark a new recreational place which is all the rage on social networks.
The new culinary destination opened in Keamari was designed to promote local cuisine, tourism and cultural dynamism in one of the oldest seaside districts in the metropolis.
The Karachi Metropolitan Corporation gave one of the oldest lairs of fish lovers. The renovated fried fish track was recently inaugurated by Mayor Murtaza Wahab.
The formerly dark and muddy path now shines sparkling and is the city’s speech on social networks. Gastronomic vloggers rush to Keamari to record a video of piping fish coming out of hot oil.
Located at the pier of the Keamari boat and near the port of Karachi Fish, the street offers both fish and those of the fishermen who go out in the sea in the morning and sell their catches in the evening.
The mackerel, the pomfret, the snappers, the queen and the emperor fish are the favorite price of the majority of local guests which generally stick to fish and avoid other seafood such as shrimp, crabs and lobsters; Calmars are out of the question.
People select their order, the fish are weighed and the buyer is explained the price of the ready meal. The guests then sit down and wait for the fish to be dressed, pulled and served in hot steam.
