Capcom has dropped the notes of Monster Hunter Wilds‘ Major update 1.021, as well as a message from the Director of the game responding to concerns about the performance of the game.
The update of the title 1.021 arrives tomorrow August 13 / August 12 at 7:30 pm PT / 03:30 pm BST and, as the implementation notes, confirm it will be around 3 GB on PS5, 2 GB on the X series and the X -XBOX series on the Xbox and 2 GB series on steam, but 6 GB with a high -resolved texture pack installed.
As Capcom has previously announced, the The expansion of the end -of -part content originally planned as part of the title 3 update has been advanced and will arrive with 1,021, which will include new quests with high difficulties and the appearance of 9 -star soaked monsters at 100 hr or more.
These 9 -star monsters include: Rey Dau, Uth Duna, Nu Udra, Jin Dahaad, Gore Magala, Arkveld, Mizutsune, Lagiacrus, Seregios.
In addition, the regular and soaked versions of Rey Dau and Nu Udra will now appear in the hollow wounded at HR 100 or more, the appearance rate monsters at 100 HR and more have been adjusted, while the appearance rate of standard monsters has been increased slightly.
In addition to the out -of -competition characteristics, adjustments in various weapons have been added. Capcom initially planned to adjust five types of weapons in this patch, but decided to extend the range of 11 types of weapons in total.
These modifications will apply to launch, sword insect, sword and shield and load blade, which has undergone its raw damage for multi-cut attacks in Power Ax mode.
A new element of brilliant stone evaluation has also been added as a reward for quests with 9 -star monsters and can be transformed into a talisman evaluated with skills assigned at random.

Update 1.021 follows the title Update 2, which addressed the Shader compilation problem which had caused poor PC performance since the launch of the game.
Despite this, the game is still at a “mainly negative” score on Steam, which is slightly better than its “extremely negative” score.
Monster Hunter Wilds Director Yuya Tokuda has now transmitted a message to the community with layoffs, apologizing for the current state of the game while promising that the fixes are on the way.
