Imam Hussain’s chehlum (RA) and Karbala martyrs were observed in Karachi with religious reverence and solemnity. The Central Mourning Rally (Majlis-E-Aza) took place at Park Nishtar under the auspices of Pak Muharram Hall, where the famous scientist Allama Shahenshah Naqvi delivered a sermon on the tribulations of Ahl-E-Bait.
After the majlis, the main procession of Chehlum started and took place along my Jinnah Road to Imambargah Ali Raza, where the prayers of the Zuhrain congregation were led by Allama Nazir Abbas Taqvi.
The procession then followed its traditional itinerary, passing by Sea Breeze, Empress Market, Tibet Center, Jama Cloth Market and Lighthouse, concluding that Husainia Iranian Iranian Imambargah in Kharadar.
Narrow safety arrangements were in place, with appointment doors installed at the entry and exit points of the procession, and sealed roads with barricades, oil tankers and containers. A heavy contingent of police and rangers guards, including staff on motorcycles, mobile vans and armored vehicles, has been deployed.

The procession has also been monitored by sniff dogs, the bombs elimination task and elite shooters. In addition, mobile telephony services have been suspended in certain areas for security reasons, and a riding ban has been applied.
Throughout the procession, the mourning groups (Matami Anjumans) recited elegies and performed Matam. The faithful paid tribute to the symbolic representations of Zuljanah (the horse of Imam Hussain Ra), Alams (flags) and taboots (replicas of coffins).
Food and drinking distributions – including Biryani, Sheermal, Sherbet, Water and Tea – were also designed as Offers (Nazr -O -Niyaz), while special arrangements have been taken by women for mourning women, including the establishment of water stands (Sabeels).
In addition, to alleviate the effects of heat, water was sprayed along the route, while ambulances and medical camps were parked throughout the procession route. Governor Kamran Tessori and Ig Javed Alam Odho additional also participated in the procession.
Cashlum, Urs of Data Ganj Bakhsh concludes in Lahore
Imam Hussain’s chehlum (RA) and URS conclusion ceremonies from Ali Hajveri data, widely known as Ganj Bakhsh (RA) data, were observed through Punjab on Friday in in -depth security arrangements. DIG Operations Lahore Faisal Kamran personally inspected the route of the main HAVELI ALF SHAH CHEHLUM procession in the city center.
The security forces have sealed the connection of streets, elite shooters stationed on the roofs and monitored the routes via real -time video surveillance provided by the Punjab Safe Cities Authority. Doors, 6,753 metal detectors and 926 checkpoints were set up for screening.
Women officers have been deployed for women and children, while plainclothes staff watched the crowds.
“Peacekeeping and the protection of each citizen is our mission,” said Kamran, urging public cooperation on sensitive opportunities.

Inspector General of Punjab of the police, Dr. Usman Anwar, praised the “excellent security agreements” and congratulated CCPO Lahore, DIG operations and senior officers for their coordination.
He noted that the organizations responsible for the application of the laws have been on alert for several days, implementing measures against a wheel, an air shot and other violations during the celebrations of religious observances and the day of independence earlier in the week.
The police reported 277 arrests and 249 cases during the repression, including 162 arrests for a wheel and 13 for an air shot.

Provincial Minister of Health Khawaja Salman Rafic, who also chairs the Punjab cabinet committee on law and order, visited the central control room of the Interior Department to examine live surveillance. He was joined by the acting chief secretary Punjab Ahmad Raza Sarwar, the interior secretary, Dr. Ahmad Javed Qazi, and other senior officials.
RAFHER has reaffirmed the government’s commitment to ensure peace, to protect lives and property and to guarantee complete religious freedom. He said that the authorities have hired academics and community leaders in all Muharram sects to promote unity and harmony.

The acting chief secretary added that all the departments concerned – including the police, the rescue 1122 and the traffic authorities – remained on alert to the safe return of the mourning and the faithful. The interior secretary said that a zero tolerance policy was being executed against hate sectarian discourse, surveillance of provincial cyber-patrolling cells and action against offenders.
Special arrangements were taken in Lahore for thousands of faithful participating in the URS.
Provincial and district control rooms have ensured continuous coordination between security and administration agencies. The officials have credited the joint efforts of the Punjab police, the service of origin, district administrations and religious leaders for the peaceful conclusion of the two events.
Karbala martyrs honored in Rawalpindi
The grandson of the Holy Prophet chehlum (SAW), Hazrat Imam Hussain (RA), and the Karbala martyrs were observed in Rawalpindi with a solemn reverence, a deep religious fervor and sincere devotion.
Six mourning processions, featuring Zuljinnah, Tazia and Alam, were removed in memory of the martyrs, ending late in the night at Imambargah Qadeem after having followed their designated routes.
Along the procession paths, stands have been installed offering cold water, refreshments and tea. The mourning people paid tribute to the eternal sacrifice of Karbala martyrs for the cause of Islam through the elegies (Nauhakhwani), the breast beat (Matam) and self-flagellation with chains (Zanjeerzani).
The first mourning procession began at 1:30 p.m. from Imambargah Aashiq Hussain, passing by Teli Mohalla, Murree Road, Chowk and Iqbal Road Committee before merging with the main procession of Colonel Maqbool of Imambargah Maqbool Hussain.
The prayers of the Zuhr and ASR congregation were offered in Fawwara Chowk, while Maghrib and Isha Prayers were made on Jamia Masjid Road. Women and children participated in many.
The Imambargah Hifazat Ali Shah, Imambargah Darbar Shah Chan Chiragh and Imambargah Shuhada-E-Karbala processions, all wearing Zuljinnah, converged in Purana Qila Chowk. The central procession of Imambargah Baltistanie, Angat Pura, started in Dingi Khoi, crossed Banni Chowk and Jamia Masjid Road, and ended with Imambargah Qadeem in Maghrib.
A security detail comprising 4,000 staff members has been deployed, with rangers called and the triple-one brigade placed on red alert. The processions were closely monitored via drones and television cameras in a closed circuit. Tehreek chief Nifaz Fiqh Jafariya, Allama Muqaddasi, attended the superior officers of the District and Police Administration, in addition to members of the peace committees.
Before the start of the processions, mourning rallies took place in various imambargates, where researchers paid tribute to the philosophy of martyrdom and the supreme sacrifice of Imam Hazrat Hussain (RA) and his companions.
