- Nvidia now brings her GeForce RTX 5080 to GeForce, for his “ultimate” level subscription
- The prices will remain the same, with improved play performance
- Multiprame generation will also be available on GeForce now
Gamescom 2025 is finally there, with many new triple-a-time games to wait, and Nvidia has worked hard behind the scenes to further strengthen its local and cloud game offer.
NVIDIA announced that the GPU Blackwell RTX 5080 with the Multi-Trame generation (MFG) will arrive at the membership of the program “GFN) by GeForce Now (GFN), which should be launched in September. The trame generation tool at Team Green driver, Smooth Motion, will also be available for GPU users in the RTX 4000 series, from the beta version in August.
Although RTX 5080 will improve the performance of the Cloud game service, GFN subscription prices will not increase, as some may expect. It should be noted that the RTX 5080 based on the cloud will only be available for selected games – and this seems to be defined for more graphically demanding titles.
And these are not all the game fans in clouds. The new film quality streaming functionality (CQS) will arrive on GFN, Nvidia saying that this will offer “a new generation image quality that competes with local PC games”. Titles like Call of Duty Black Ops 7,, Borderlands 4,, Dying light: the beast,, And Hell is us will be available once launched.
As for the smooth movement, users of the GeForce RTX 4000 series have long been waiting for this functionality, and it is finally on the way.
This will essentially allow players to activate the generation of frame at the pilot level for games that do not have an integrated NVIDIA frame generation support. It acts in the same way as the Fluid Movers of AMD and is designed to improve performance with the frames generated by AI.
It will initially be available during GameCom 2025 via the beta version on the NVIDIA application, and must be deployed to all users by the end of August.
We do not know if the smooth movement will still arrive at the older RTX generations, and it should be noted that the generation of frame is currently limited to the GPUs of the RTX 5000 and RTX 4000 series.
Analysis: the cloud game continues to improve better …
If I did not already have a game configuration, GeForce would now be in my alley. Indeed, it is widely available on several devices and now uses the second most powerful GPU in the Cloud Games market.
I was not a particular fan of the cloud game, because it requires a good internet connection, which is not always a guarantee (depending on where you are). However, with additions such as low latency streaming (LLS), lag and stuttering should be much less problem.
Laptop players will benefit considerably – in particular those who use the tastes of Steam Deck or Lenovo Legion Go S (Z2 Go Model), as they can play games on the cloud with higher graphics settings.
I love to see updates like this Team Green, and it is good to know that if I ever need to use GFN one day, I will be able to take advantage of the advantages of these new features.
