A key subsidiary of Microsoft in Russia is about to file for bankruptcy.
A PK Press Club Report citing “a note published on the official fedresur register”, “Microsoft Rus LLC intended to declare bankruptcy”.
The company has four subsidiaries in the country, according to Cup: Microsoft RUS LLC (primary subsidiary responsible for marketing, location and relationships with partners), Microsoft Development Center RUS (Software and Engineering Development), Microsoft Mobile RUS (Technologies and Mobile Services) and Microsoft Payments RUS (Financial transactions and payment services).

Fedresurs, or “unified federal register of legally important information on the activities of legal entities, individual entrepreneurs and other economic entities”, is the official online register of Russia which serves as a centralized platform to disclose legally important information on business and business business activities.
