Police arrested a gang of 4 members involved in the flight of people while pretending to be a bride after a false marriage.
The repression against criminal elements in Punjab is underway, during which the organized crime defense unit arrested a gang of 4 members involved in the looting of citizens while pretending to be a wife.
During the operation, the false bride and the officiating marriage were arrested. Arrested individuals include Sajid Bashir, Muhammad Naeem, Muqaddas Bibi and Allah Rakhi, one of which is the leader.
According to police officials, criminals are organizing false marriages and held the victim’s family hostage before fleeing with their valuables. The arrested suspects have admitted several incidents and additional surveys are underway.
Suspects, the police recovered money, gold jewelry and wedding dresses. The DSP of the organized crime defense unit said that the suspects had been arrested through professional skills and public relations efforts.
