The government has decided to convene a joint session of Parliament on January 21, with a busy legislative agenda that includes the adoption of 29 bills.
The Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs has forwarded a formal summary to the President seeking approval to convene the joint session, which is expected to begin at 10:30 a.m.
According to officials, the joint session will consider a total of 29 bills for approval, including 18 private members’ bills and 11 government bills. Among them, 24 bills had already been sent back without presidential agreement.
