- An Amazon list now modified has referred to an iPhone 17 screen of 6.3 inch
- The iPhone 16 has a 6.1 inch screen
- The four iPhone 17 models could wear promotion screens at 120 Hz
Based on the rumors of the iPhone 17 that we have heard so far, we expected the iPhone of the Basic 2025 model to get a 6.3 -inch larger screen – from the 6.1 inch display of the iPhone 16 – and the upgrade may have been confirmed by a manufacturer of third -party cases.
An enumeration of Amazon India spotted by GSMARENA showed a iPhone 16 Pro screen protector from Spigen, as compatible with the iPhone 17 and iPhone 17 Pro. The list has now been revised to delete all the mentions of the iPhone 17.
The involvement is that the iPhone 16 Pro, the iPhone 17 and the iPhone 17 Pro will all have the same 6.3 -inch screen size. It corresponds to a leak that emerged last month, although it is possible that the smaller glasses – rather than any increase in the physical size of the phone – are the reason for the largest screen.
As for the iPhone 17 Pro, all the indications were that the phone will keep the same 6.3 -inch screen as its predecessor. This could make the choice between the standard and the pro model a little more difficult than it was last year.
Another display upgrade
Another rumor of the iPhone 17 that goes around is that the four models will come with 120 Hz screens, which Apple describes as a promotion. This means smoother effects and scrolling, and the management of a display always on.
Again, it would blur the line between the iPhone 17 and the iPhone 17 pro, so we will have to wait and see what Apple decisions finally. It is possible that the standard iPhone 17 can stick to the chipset last year to offer a more affordable option.
It seems almost certain now that we will also get an air iPhone 17 handset, replacing the iPhone 16 Plus. The speech was that the air of the iPhone 17 was only 5.5 mm thick, from front to back, although some of the advantages of it were so thin could be canceled by the size of the camera bump on the back.
The series will be completed by the iPhone 17 Pro Max (or perhaps the iPhone 17 Ultra), which would get the 6.9-inch screen of the same size as the iPhone 16 Pro Max. Telephones should be launched in September.
