- A new leak reveals a new MSI Claw laptop, with the name of the ‘MSI Claw 7 A2HM’ model ‘
- It seems that it is an upgraded MSI claw of A1M origin
- Previous rumors have suggested that a new MSI claw would use one of the Ryzen Z2 processors of AMD
The biggest computer technological event of the year, Computex 2025, is fast approaching, which means that the new hand game PCs could be revealed – and fortunately, a new leak suggests that a new MSI laptop could be one of them.
As indicated by Videocardz, a new MSI claw was spotted by a leak on X (@ 94g8la), on the basis of the MSI hardware store store. It seems that it is a new variant of the original MSI Claw A1M, because it is labeled “ MSI Claw 7 A2HM ”, but it is rather subjected to one of the Ryzen Z2 APUS processors of AMD or to Arrow Lake of Intel.
This occurs after MSI’s speculation has finally published a new claw laptop that could take advantage of the new APU range from Team Red; Although it is taken with a grain of salt, this leak makes the previous rumors more plausible.
The alleged new claw will not be a “AI +” laptop as a function of its disclosed model name, so it may be sure to assume that it may not be as powerful as the CLAW 8 Ultra 7 258V basic chip. However, it could probably be an original A1M model upgrade, which used the Core Ultra 5 155h processor (and which was not well received according to the reviews).
Anyway, the question remains; If he uses one of the Ryzen Z2 processors of AMD, will he be the Z2 Go (that we have seen on the Legion Go S), the Z2 or the extreme Z2? If the latter is the answer, then we could be in a fantastic upgrade of the original A1M portable accompaniment of MSI.
I would absolutely love a MSI Ryzen Z2 extreme claw, but just not with a 7 -inch screen …
The negative consensus surrounding MSI Claw A1M is an old news at this stage; He was criticized due to his poor playing performances and his battery life, as well as the inability to compete with other pocket computers such as Asus Rog Ally.
Despite the massive improvements made to the CLAW 8 AI +, MSI seems to be adjusted to correct its wrongs with the A2HM model of the rumors’ claw (especially if it uses the Apu Z2 Extreme) – but the only reproach I have is that it will be another 7 -inch display.
It is not terrible in any case, because I used to use the 7 -inch screen of my Asus Rog Ally, but it is certainly not ideal. Lots of potential screen space are already supported by glasses, and that is why I had the MSI Claw 8 AI + on my list of wishes, thanks to its 8 -inch screen and its powerful processor next to large performance.
These are only rumors, of course, but if MSI can also launch an 8 -inch A2HM, it would actually be great competition for the CLAW 8 AI + with more variety for its consumers.
