Rawalpindi:

A court sent the head of the Air Force squadron (PAF) (RETD) Anum Hasan to Adiala prison during a judicial detention of 14 days to have allegedly forged a divorce certificate to remarry.

The main civil judge Waqar Ahmed Siddhu made the order after her husband, the chief of the squadron Adnan Shamoon, accused him of preparing a false divorce decree of the Court and a fraudulent divorce certificate of the Union council to marry another man, Saad Rafiq.

Shamoon, a pilot parked at Kamra air base, presented evidence in court, declaring that he had married Anum Hasan in 2014, and they have three children, Zainab, six, Mehrun Nisa, three years old, and Ibrahim, a year and a half.

On September 21, 2023, Shamoon was sent to the Sargodha air base for a 10-month course and during his stay there, he maintained regular contact with his wife. However, on his return, he discovered that his wife had disappeared and filed a written complaint with the Pakistani Air Force.

During the investigation, a divorce certificate dated July 31, 2024, issued by the Council of the Union of the colony of Afandi, was discovered. In addition, a fraudulent Khula prescription from the Muhammad Sarfaraz family judge was also discovered. Additional surveys have revealed that the divorce certificate and the court order it used had been falsified.

Police recorded a case and arrested Anum Hasan. While the police asked for three -day pre -trial detention, the court rejected the request and sent it to prison in Adiala in pre -trial detention. She also asked for a deposit.
