It took Aaron Judge for a long time to reach the 350th home run in his MLB career.
On Saturday, the New York Yankees slugger knocked out a ball on the outside wall to reach the milestone.
While hitting 350 Homers is a feat in itself, the judge reached the brand faster than the former knock Mark McGwire.

The judge reached 350 in his 1,088th match, while McGwire hit the n ° 350 in his 1280th match against the Detroit Tigers launcher, Brian Moehler, on June 2, 1997, exceeding Harmon Killebrew, who struck his 350th in his 1319th match.

“Big Mac has done a lot of great things in this game, and it is definitely a legend,” said the judge.
“I just think he is playing in another league,” said Yankees manager Aaron Boone after the judge’s ninth round of the right central field against the Cubs. Chicago won 5-2.

The judge, who was 33 years old in April, made his debut with the Yankees at the age of 24 in 2016. The double MVP of the AL also doubled twice and hits a 0.358 at the top of the major league with 35 circuits and 81 products produced.
“Would have been great if we obtained a victory today,” said the judge. “I have been surrounded by many big teammates, I am in good teams, so they really put me in the best position to go there and play my best.”

McGwire ended his career in 2001 at the age of 38 with 583 circuits, still good for 11th place on the career list. He admitted in 2010 that he had consumed drugs improving performance and was denied entry to the baseball renowned temple.
The Yankees captain said he had maintained a relationship with McGwire since their first conversation.
“I think it started when I broke my first hill,” said the judge. “I think his son was going through the same thing, so he asked me first how did I heal? What are we doing? So, I somehow gave him advice on this subject. And then we just chatted and kept in touch.”
