The Skipper Dave Roberts of Los Angeles Dodgers and Aaron Boone of the Yankees were the managers of the star match of this year after their teams met in the World Series of last season.
Boone responded to concerns about his selection of players for the swing-off, saying that each manager had to submit three names the day before the event. He added that his decision was based on the idea that the judge would not be in the star match at the end of the sleeves.

For the first time in four years, Major League players have taken the field for a stars match bearing the uniforms of the teams for which they play. Since the Braves of Atlanta are a club in the national league, the NL ALL-STARS wore their white white uniforms. The All-Stars wore their gray road uniforms.
In recent years, players have received specially designed star uniforms.
“I wanted to go there and represent New York, so I thought in a way of all the first stars,” said the Yankees Slugger at PK Press Club Digital in the American League clubhouse a few hours before the first launch of the MLB Star match on Tuesday.
“I just expressed (my opinion on the situation). I would not say that it was my call or anything. … As, I think it’s cool for fans too. I remember as a child who was running the old star games (on television) and seeing players in their uniforms.”
The judge talks about Home Run Derby
Asked about his reflections on the Home Run derby, Judge said with a smile: “I already did it. I don’t know what you want with me.
“I think it’s time for someone else to intensify and do their thing and have fun. I love to see new faces in the game go there and do their thing.”
Jazz Chisholm Jr. represented the Yankees on Monday evening in Home Run Derby. The second basic player had the Total of the lowest home run of the participants and failed to pass beyond the first round.
The judge remained favorable to his teammate and suggested that Chisholm had an eye on the chance of redemption in 2026.
“It’s his first. It’s a great moment, but I know he’s still ready for the big moment. But I think he had a base in the game tonight, so he was ready for the star game. My guy is an All-Star. He said he was going to do it next year.
