The Pittsburgh Steelers quarterrier Aaron Rodgers won a victory tour Sunday after the team won a victory on the New York Jets, 34-32.

Rodgers experienced an incredible performance against his old team. He had 22 out of 30 with 244 yards per pass and four Touché passes. The team scored 17 points in the fourth quarter, including Chris Boswell’s Gort, 60 yards.

It was the second consecutive match that Rodgers had launched four Touché passes. He did it during the week 18 against the Miami dolphins in his last match with the jets.

Rodgers were asked if there was more meaning to beat the jets this time since the New York head coach Aaron Glenn did not think that Rodgers was right for the team.

“I was happy to beat everyone associated with jets,” he joked.

Rodgers added that he really had nothing to prove. He just wanted to have fun with his new teammates.

“No, I just wanted to have fun today. I mean I dreamed of the opportunity to step back on the field during the offseason and to ask me what it would feel,” he said. “The juices would flow and it would hit my competitive mind.

“There were a lot of moments when I was on the touch just for myself to thank my wife and my friends for having encouraged me to make time with my decision and that it would be the right decision. I am happy to be a steeler and happy things have happened as they did today.”
