Aaron Rodgers finally put the pen on paper and accepted an agreement with the Pittsburgh Steelers last week while he was looking for a last round to a super bowl title before he inevitably calls him.
The Steelers calendar and the alleged departure quarter of week 1 is not easy. Rodgers will return to East Rutherford, New Jersey, to play New York Jets during week 1, followed by the house opening against Seattle Seahawks in week 2 and a game on the road against Drake Maye and New Awl Look New England Patriots.

Steelers’ opponents for the 2025 season have a percentage of victories in 2024 of 52.6% and for this reason, the former director general of the jets, Mike Tannenbaum, made a “daring prediction” on Rodgers.
“I’m going to make a daring prediction,” he said on “Get Low” of ESPN on Wednesday. “I think that Aaron Rodgers will not be relevant by Thanksgiving. Insufficient. An unleashed team, an 42-year-old quarter, which is a legend, which is triggered at sunset.”
His point of view was met with surprise.
“Tell me why they will be relevant?” Tannenbaum told hosts. “They are the third best team in the division. They will have to discover Will Howard, whom they drafted from Ohio State, who, I think, is very intriguing.”

The situation of the post-Ben Roethlisberger post-Ben Steelers is akin to the Indianapolis colts lived after Andrew Luck’s retirement in 2019.
Roethlisberger retired after the 2021 season. Since then, the Steelers have used Kenny Pickett, Mitchell Trubisky, Mason Rudolph, Justin Fields and Russell Wilson. Through all this, head coach Mike Tomlin persevered.
The Steelers, even if they did not leave the round of the Joker, missed the playoffs only once since 2020. Although the offensive has pulverized, the defense turned out to appear if necessary.

Although Tannenbaum can be right on Rodgers in particular, this does not necessarily mean counting Pittsburgh in 2025.
